The POWERply Standard FR GT24 HW (Heat Weld) membrane is designed for use in hot air, heat welded (torch applied) multi-ply roof and flashing systems that require highly reflective granule surfacing.  Each membrane includes ultra-white granule surfacing, which provides the reflectivity, and a burn-off polyolephin sheet on the underside.

Asbestos-free POWERply Standard FR GT24 HW is a fiberglass reinforced, SBS modified bitumen membrane with reflective granule surfacing.  It exceeds both the minimum requirements for aged solar reflectance per the 2015 International Energy Conservation Code (Chapter 4, Section C402.3.1) and ASTM D6163, Type I, Grade G; ASTM D6163 is Standard Specification for Styrene Butadiene Styrene (SBS) Modified Bituminous Sheet Materials Using Glass Fiber Reinforcements.
