There's nothing quite like Tremco's VR Mod system.  Its pre-vegetated, hybrid, modular design creates an "instant" vegetated roof, one that is installed fully grown out and beautiful.  Each modular unit contains all the elements that compose a well designed vegetated roof; the units also lock together for superior wind uplift resistance and precise integration.

The system features:

• Modular trays with positive locking sidewalls for a secure fit; perforated sidewalls enable growing media contact throughout the entire depth and width
• An integrated water retention panel and drainage board with the industry's highest water retention capacity
• Built-in filter fabric separates the growing media from the drainage layer
• A heavy-duty percolation layer that provides drainage below the growing media and prevents root rot
• Standard 4" growing media depth
• Pre-vegetated, standard modules include sedums and short grass blends (meadow mixes and perennials are available).

The VR Mod system has received FM Global approval within the United States and Canada.

The foundation of any vegetated roofing system is its waterproofing layer, and Tremco Commercial Sealants and Waterproofing has four options to support the VR Lite, VR Mod and VR Max.  Depending on your application, you can choose from TREMproof 6100, with its 40 year track record; TREMproof 250GC, which can be applied to damp and green concrete; fast-curing Vulkem EWS, when time is critical; and our Dual Waterproofing System, TREMproof DWS, for long term durability.
